Alumnus in the Spotlight

Team Gongshang congratulates alumnus Muhammad Naqib Asmin (older brother of alumnus Nur Sofiyah Binte Asmin - Shot Putt) who has done so well and has been given the honour of a place in the SEA Games 2015 in the event 4x100m relay.

Naqib graduated from Gongshang as a hurdler and has done very well ever since as an athlete with Singapore Sports School. He has been the top sprinter in the National competitions for a number of years and had the opportunity to compete overseas.

Well Done, Naqib!

He has now joined alumni Valerie Cheong and Charmaine Oh, to compete in the international arena.

Team Gongshang also congratulates another alumnus, Valerie Cheong, from Cedar Girls School who has been selected to represent Singapore in the recent ASEAN School Games.

Victoria School Invitation Relay

Our Senior Boys did amazing at the Victoria School Invitation Relay. Competing against known rivals from Tao Nan School, Red Swastika School, St Stephen School and Nanyang Primary School, the boys gave all they had to come in 2nd place, less than a second behind Nanyang Primary School. Well Done Seniors!

Our congratulations also to our alumni in Victoria School who competed and are consistently improving in their respective events. They have indeed showed what Team Gongshang is made of! Well Done Alumni!

Nationals 2013

It has been a year of test for Team Gongshang. It was certainly a roller-coaster ride. However, we will overcome the adversity to make ourselves even stronger and better.

Here, Team Gongshang would like to thank all our partners for their continuing support.

We would also re-iterate the utmost importance for our student athletes to follow and put to practice the guidance and teachings that have been given by our Teachers and Coaches. The student athletes are strongly urged not to be confused by external teachings that may affect their performance and deprive them of a better portfolio.
